The oldest of our Veterans are WWII vets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Did you know only 1% of the US population currently serve in the US Armed Forces? Less than 1% protect US citizen&#8217;s freedom to live freely in the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many veterans have difficulties receiving the benefits due to them.  Bureaucratic processes, overworked employees, not enough case workers and politicians who say they care about our veterans but only act when the spotlight is on them contribute to this situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two bills under consideration, for a long time in congress, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/303\/text\">HR303<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/333\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-bill\/333\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HR333<\/a>. As of 7 July 2026 HR333 is supported by 3 and HR303 is supported by 9 out of 438 representatives and both were referred to the Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs.
